What is a “CBIA” designation and why do so many of Anders, Ireland & Marshall’s agents have this designation?
The CBIA designation is offered through Builders Mutual Insurance Company’s educational division, Builders University. Agents Jackie F. Ireland Jr., Steven Odrezin, Pam Grimes & Katy Willett have earned this designation. These agents successfully completed a series of six, four-hour continuing education courses and passed a comprehensive final exam to obtain this designation, which demonstrates a better understanding the insurance needs of the building industry.
The mission of Builders University is to enhance and upgrade the construction related insurance knowledge of their agent partners through informative discussions and educational programs. “Builders University is a unique program designed to assist our agency partners in understanding the complexities of the construction insurance market,” said Michele Hemric, Builders Mutual’s director of training and development. “We are proud to confer the CBIA designation in representation of their knowledge and commitment to the industry.”
