New ESO Sample Riding Policy!
Parades, Fire Prevention Week, citizen ride along programs and similar public relations events provide great opportunities for emergency service organizations (ESOs) to promote their organization's activities.
During various events, your organization will be reaching out to the community to educate and connect. Sometimes, you will hold or participate in events that allow non-members to ride in ESO vehicles. But there are risks involved.
Copy, discuss, review and adapt these best practices and sample policy from VFIS!
